They confuse "gluten free" with "glucose"
Glucose is a simple sugar, like corn or sugar cane that diabetics take account.

Gluten has nothing to do with sugar, and is not necessarily suitable for diabetics. They must be free of sugar for diabetics. Gluten-free means no wheat, ie, no sugar, no sugar. Gluten-free does not always mean no sugar.
